About the Author
Lisa is a mother and former professor who never planned to write children's books until she became a mom herself. When she became a first-time mother, she found herself surrounded by stacks of picture books.
She soon realized that stories could spark joy while also offering gentle lessons — simple enough for little ones, yet meaningful enough to stay with them as they grow.
Inspired by the real-life bond between her little boy and their cat, she now writes simple, heartfelt stories that help kids and grown-ups connect through reading together.
